Herschel Supply Well Travelled

Buzzing traffic streets, moist humid air and endless markets are just a few of the things you encounter while exploring Indonesia. To further share our inspirations, we are excited to bring to you our latest “Well Travelled”, a monthly photo-essay submitted by the friends and family involved with Herschel Supply.  Join us on our journey as we travel the world showcasing all of the unique places and interesting spaces discovered along the way.  Click through to view the third edition of Well Travelled…

Nestled on the equator between Australia and Asia sits a beautiful country complied of over 18,000 islands: Indonesia. Indonesia is known globally for its world class surfing, beautiful beaches and being a region of immense volcanic activity. Bali is the island of tourism; Indonesia, with a developed western twist. Take the local roads, steer clear of tourist traps and you’re guaranteed a look back into the Indonesian culture westerners have affected. Take a moment to enjoy Caley Vanular’s words and images below:

Endless days at the beach.

Take a wild scooter ride out to Bingin and stay at Sally’s, let the ocean sing you to sleep.

Enjoy a vacation from your vacation.

Find yourself at Desert Point.

Fight with the goats.

Bask in the sunsets, be inspired by the outdoors.

Spend time surfing.

Everyone lives in a ‘villa’.

And has endless amounts of old surf boards.

Get lost. The nasi goreng gets better the farther you are from ‘home’.
