On October 2nd, The Burrard Arts Foundation in Vancouver, Canada, hosted the launch of the Herschel Supply and Booooooom “Drawing On The Past” exhibition. This partnership project invited members of both communities to celebrate nostalgia through illustration by hand drawing and explaining how a person, place or thing has positively impacted their lives.
A linear clipboard display of 50 diverse pieces formed this curated collection, many of which included deep personal insight. Amongst those who submitted illustrations, Lucy Drury, Maria Nguyen, Mallory Rose and Rachel Hines were selected to receive a Herschel Supply and Booooooom partnership backpack. This limited edition Heritage silhouette features a rich green canvas exterior and illustrated custom liner that serves as a “Drawing On The Past” interpretation of Booooooom founder Jeff Hamada’s childhood sleeping bag.
View the “Drawing On The Past” exhibition in person by visiting the Burrard Arts Foundation on 108 East Broadway in Vancouver, Canada from 12-5pm daily until October 6th.
