Herschel Supply introduced a new image campaign through the #CityLimitless Instagram contest – calling upon the greater community to submit images that capture the essence of the urban experience. Having received over 22,000 compelling entries, choosing a winner proved to be quite the difficult task.
Thanks to all who participated, and congratulations to San Francisco’s Joanne Wong (@_j.wong) for submitting the winning image – a well composed photo of a Hong Kong rooftop basketball court at dusk. She claims the City Survival Pack grand prize, consisting of a premium leather Lawson backpack from Herschel Supply’s Spring 2015 Bad Hills Workshop Collection, Bang & Olufsen H6 headphones, a Leica C camera and more.
Four runners-up were selected, each winning a $100 Herschel Supply E-Gift card. Congratulations to Anna Huizi (@annahuizi) for her photo of The Met in New York City; Kwe Bentum (@quake18) for his stunning Chicago skyscraper image; Mark Sugi (@momofukuu) for his Los Angeles skyline shot, and Mike Peters (@93mp) for his capture of the San Francisco Bay Area.
As the #CityLimitless tag continues to be populated with your unique civic perspectives, the concept will soon extend to a new content series on the Herschel Supply blog – beginning with a photo essay shot by contest winner Joanne Wong. View the curated live feed of #CityLimitless Favorites here.
