As a skateboard photographer and videographer, Vancouver, Canada’s Brian Caissie has travelled all over the world. Regardless of location or the purpose of his trip, he always takes the time to explore his surroundings, document his experiences and expand his photographic horizons. “I’ve been to Japan, Korea, Alaska, Hawaii, Europe, Newfoundland, Cuba and a lot to South America,” he says. “But there are still quite a few places left on my list.”

Brian recently expanded his range to South Australia — namely the coastal capital of Adelaide — where he and former local Lauren Travan took in all that the city and its surrounding areas have to offer.

“There’s a strong sense of nature within the city, which has numerous uncrowded beaches and coastlines that stretch for miles,” Lauren explains. “If you ask me, the ‘Adeladians’ have the whole work-life balance thing worked out, so meeting friends for a patio coffee can easily evolve into a last-minute road trip to a number of places within an hour of the city. There’s the Noarlunga Reef for snorkelling, the surrounding wine regions, or a day at Victor Harbor’s Granite Island Nature Park looking for Fairy Penguins.”
